Tournament Format : Participants will be placed in pools and will play everyone in their pool. Then all participants will be placed in a single elimination bracket to determine the league champions.
For this league, participants must play all opponents in their pool by Thursday October 30th. The single elimination portion will begin after that.
1. Rules:

Players are responsible for contacting their opponents and setting up a time to play each match. The time of the match must be mutually agreed upon.

Players are then to call x1610 and reserve a racquetball court for their match. Courts can be reserved one day ahead of time.

After each match you are to report your score to the desk or e-mail us your score.

Players must play their games before the listed deadline or game will be considered a double forfeit.

Schedules and results will be posted on the IM Board and online.

All matches will be the best-of-three series. The first two games will be played straight to 15, the third straight to 11.
2.Eligibility: The tournament is open to all students, faculty, and staff . Professional racquetball players are not eligible.
3. Divisions: Open "A " (very competitive, play often) Open "B" (competitive, plays sometimes) Open "C" (play once in awhile for fun). The intramural director reserves the right to move a player from one league to the other.
4. Equipment: Racquetballs, racquets, and eye guards can be checked out from the recreation desk.
5. Sportsmanship: It will be expected that all participants respect the game, the court, and their opponents.
