OUTSTANDING STUDENT LEADER AWARD
John Carroll University is filled with many students who have devoted themselves to serving the university through involvement and embodying the characteristics and qualities of a leader. The Outstanding Student Leader Award is designed to recognize graduating seniors who, through their dedicated leadership and involvement, have made significant contributions to changing the campus culture in a positive way during their time here at JCU. These leaders have consistently and unselfishly given of themselves in efforts to enhance the spirit and community of John Carroll and improve our university as an institution altogether.
The recipients are selected based on the following criteria, which stem from our Jesuit and Catholic mission:
- Demonstrated service to the university and/or local community
- Commitment to student leadership and student advocacy
- Commitment to positively changing the campus environment
- Promotes a positive image of the university and the student body
