Janetta Hammock
Director, Office of Multicultural Affairs

Janetta Hammock joined the Office of Multicultural Affairs in July 2006.  Janetta also served as assistant to the president and secretary to the board for JCU.  She holds a Master of Arts degree in African-American Studies from Morgan State University (MD) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Michigan State University. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at Case Western Reserve University.

Prior to coming to John Carroll six years ago, Janetta served in the Division of Government and Public Affairs at the American Council on Education (ACE) in Washington, DC. At ACE, she served as the organization’s resource person on issues related to diversity and affirmative action, college and university administration, and college cost.

 

  

Marlo Henderson

Marlo joined the Office of Multicultural Affairs staff in June 2004 as a temporary employee and was subsequently hired permanently in October 2004. In her capacity as secretary, Marlo assists with the planning and implementation of OMA programs provides support to the Director and Associate Director of OMA and is responsible for daily office administrative duties.
