RIGHT TO LIFE

Purpose:

John Carroll Right to Life as a whole is a group committed to a Consistent Ethic of Human Life. We believe in the dignity inherent in all human beings from the moment of conception until natural death. As such, Right to Life tries to address the many different things in current society that do not respect the dignity of life. Such things include capital punishment, war, abortion, euthanasia, embryonic stem-cell research, and poverty.

Events/Activities:

One of the major events/trips that Right to Life takes is down to Washington, D.C. in January to participate in the annual March for Life. That trip usually is anywhere from one to three days, depending on if the group goes to a conference as well. The group is currently looking to create more annual traditions involving all of the issues from the Constistent Life Ethic.

Meetings: Tuesdays at 8:00pm in the Campus Ministry Conference Room

If students feel strongly about the dignity of all people, we'd strongly encourage you to join us and help promote a greater respect for human life. You can be interested in one, some, or all of the issues we address, but we are certainly working to educate others about the Consistent Ethic of Life through our programs and meetings. All are welcome!
