SOCIAL ACTIVITIES

Although every session during Streak Week presents you with an opportunity to meet your fellow classmates, we include several events throughout the weekend that are social in nature.  To find out about a few of these events, read below!

STREAK WEEK HYPNOTIST

For several years, the Student Union Programming Board (SUPB) has sponsored a hypnotist that has students rolling in the aisles of Kulas Auditorium with laughter.  If
you thought hypnosis was a tuxedo and a pocket watch, think again!  Year after year, this event is a favorite of students.

S’MORES NIGHT AND JAMS

Immediately after the hypnotist, the Residence Hall Association (RHA) keeps the good times rolling with “S’mores Night and Jams.”  Complete with fire-toasted marshmallows, prizes, and entertainment from some of JCU’s very own, this is a perfect end to your first official day on campus.

GREEK GRAFFITI PARTY

Greek Life and the Student Union Programming Board team up to sponsor the annual Greek Graffiti Party.  This is a great time for you to hang out with fellow members of the Class of 2012, get a free t-shirt, and get the signatures or phone numbers of new friends!  It’s an awesome time with music, prizes, and fun!

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

There are several opportunities over the weekend to take advantage of our
recreational facilities and programs.  You can play basketball, racquetball, dodgeball, and other sports during open recreation time, or sign up to play in your first
intramural event, the Streak Week 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament!
