Move-In Dates for Fall 2009

Early Arrival Check-In

In the event you cannot move in during the check-in times designated on Friday, August 28th, Saturday, August 29th, or Sunday, August 30th, we are offering Early Arrival check-in hours. 

To take advantage of this opportunity, registration and payment must be received by Friday, August 21st.  The early arrival fee is $25.00 per day prior to Friday, August 28th and is non-refundable. 

Please note that early check-in is not permitted on Thursday, August 27th as that day is dedicated to first-year student move-in.  There will be a special check in for some first year students on Wednesday, August 26th from 10:00am-2:00pm that will block off parking behind Sutowski and Murphy Halls as well as the lot behind Pacelli Hall.  Please be aware of this if you are planning to arrive on this day.

We hope these extended hours make returning to campus more convenient.

Please note:

• The first meal served in the dining hall will be dinner on Friday, August 28th.
• First-year students are strongly discouraged from arriving early, as the Fall Orientation program does not begin until Thursday, August 27th.  Prior to this day there will be no planned activities, limited food service options, and no move-in crew to assist you.
• If you are a member of a student group approved to arrive early and your name has been submitted by the advisor/coach, you should not return the Early Arrival Registration form.  If you have questions, please contact your advisor/coach.
• If you have items in the RHA Storage, you will be able to remove items on Monday August 24th, or on Thursday, August 27th - Sunday, August 30th.  Specific hours will be posted in the Atrium.
