THE LOOP SHUTTLE

The Office of Residence Life and the Student Union coordinate the "The Loop" Shuttle Service sponsored by the Student Activity Fee that runs every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when classes are in session. The shuttle travels to the following destinations: Green Road Annex, Beachwood Mall, LaPlace Fashion Centre, Legacy Village, and University Square.

The shuttle runs on Friday night from 7:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m., Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 a.m., and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The shuttle leaves JCU in front of the RecPlex in the Belvoir parking lot. The 24 passenger fully accessible bus is operated by Hopkins Transportation Services and will be designated as the John Carroll Loop shuttle.

This service is free to John Carroll University students upon presentation of current JCU ID.

Macy's at University Square

Located at the corner of Cedar Road and Warrensville Center Road, University Square is a recent and welcome addition to University Heights. Complete with Macy's, Famous Footwear, Pier 1 Imports, T.J. Maxx 'n More, KeyBank, Charter One Bank, PNC Bank, Applebee's, a two-story Target and more, this is a one-stop spot for your college needs! Across Warrensville Center Road is Whole Foods Market, one of Carroll students' most popular destinations.

Legacy Village

Having opened in the fall of 2003 at the corner of Richmond Road and Cedar Road, Legacy Village has already made a giant impact on the shopping atmosphere of the community. With ten restaurants, including Bar Louie, Brio Tuscan Grille, The Cheesecake Factory, Stir Crazy, California Pizza Kitchen, Claddagh Irish Pub, Chipotle, The Melting Pot and Tropical Smoothie Café, you can never go hungry. Legacy features a unique shopping experience with stores like Apple Computer, Crate & Barrel, Dick's Sporting Goods, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Ritz Camera, Sprint, Talbots, and Nordstrom Rack. Beachwood Place & LaPlace Fashion Centre

Located just a few minutes away at the intersection of Cedar and Richmond Roads, Beachwood Place is the closest indoor mall to John Carroll. Anchored by three department stores, Dillard's, Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue, Beachwood Place also features Abercrombie & Fitch, American Eagle Outfitters, American Greetings, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, Bath & Body Works, Brooks Brothers, Lucky Brand, Claire's Boutique, Coach, Express, Finish Line, GAP, Guess?, J. JCU Green Road Annex

While most students will get on and off here to pick up their cars from the parking lot, this corner is packed with specialty eateries including: Zeppe's Pizza; Jack's Deli; Pincus Bakery; and Bruegger's Bagels. Heinen's Fine Foods, a neighborhood grocery store, is also located here. Heinen's includes an array of prepared foods and an eating area upstairs.
