The Division of Communications, formed in the spring of 2005, is overseen by the Executive Vice President. This division is responsible for:

Producing a monthly e-newsletter for the student body and greater university community, entitled the Student Union JOURNAL
Reporting news in a timely fashion through press releases to university media outlets, including the Carroll News and the Office of Public Affairs
Maintaining the Student Union's website with frequent news updates as well as the most recent information for each of the website's many sections and features
Designing and compiling informative brochures about the Student Union and its functions
Photographing all major campus events such as homecoming or the concert, and special occurrences such as special resolution presentations at Senate meetings
Work with the Elections Committee to help publicize elections and increase voter turnout
Brainstorm new and innovative ways to increase communication as well as improve the Student Union's image
