The Committee on Community Affairs and Service serves a two-fold purpose. First, it is the Senate committee that handles relations with the University Heights community. By opening up a dialogue with residents and the city council, this committee strives to have a better connection between John Carroll and University Heights. Second, this committee focuses on service-related activities. As a Jesuit institution, we are "men and women for others" and this committee looks at ways to improve service events around campus and throughout the area.

Chairperson: Jess Landis '09

Communications Division Reporter: Alex Lendrum '09
