The Committee on Facilities and Security works to ensure the safety of John Carroll students by collaborating with departments such as CSS, EMS, and the Dean of Students. They also work to make sure that facilities on campus, such as the Library, Corbo Fitness Room, Shula Stadium, the Quad, and the Atrium, are satisfactory. This is accomplished by working closely with the Facilities Director.

Please contact the Committee on Facilities and Security with any concerns, comments, or questions about your security on campus, or facilities that you use. The Committee needs your input to ensure that all of the necessary improvements are made.

Goals of the Committee on Facilities and Security include:

  • Have the Academic buildings open for longer hours, if not for the entire year than at least during Midterms and Finals
  • Increase the security on campus either by getting blue light emergency phones installed on campus or having an increased CSS presence
  • Educate the student body on the availability of EMS services
