The Student Union Senate consists of six senators from each undergraduate class at John Carroll University, with one elected as the Class President. Senators convene on a weekly basis Tuesdays at 5:00 PM in Rodman A to discuss the happenings of the prior week, from student advocacy committee work to programming. All legislation must be approved by the Senate, and any issues or concerns can be brought to these students. All Senators are required to be an active member of at least one student advocacy committee. All of these committees work with university administration, faculty, and/or staff on problems or issues that arise.

Student Union Senate meetings are held every Tuesday at 5:00 pm in Rodman A.

All are welcome to attend to express their opinions and concerns.
