RESIDENCE LIFE LEARNING OUTCOMES

While living on campus:

First-year students will have the opportunity to  learn how to:

  • Identify campus and community resources to assist others who are experiencing problems with alcohol (e.g. alcohol poisoning, habitual alcohol abuse)

  • Articulate the benefits of having diversity within an environment

  • Identify resources available on the John Carroll campus that can assist students maintain a healthy lifestyle

  • Articulate the mission of John Carroll University

  • Describe characteristics of a healthy relationship

Continuing students also will have the opportunity to learn how to:

  • Articulate the three most important values in their lives

  • Identify resources available on the John Carroll campus that can assist a student to form a personal vocational path

  • Articulate the ways in which they contribute to the John Carroll community

Graduating seniors also will have the opportunity to learn how to:

  • Articulate what they learned from living on the John Carroll campus

  • Articulate their three most important professional values for their vocation
