Information Provided:
Demographic characteristics, expectations of the college experience, secondary-school experiences, degree goals, career plans, college finances, attitudes, values, goals, and reasons for attending college. 
Data Collected:
Provides a detailed profile of the entering freshman class, as well as national normative data for students in similar types of institutions.

Information Provided:
Students provide information regarding the nature of their engagement in terms of five benchmarks of effective educational practice, including level of academic challenge, active and collaborative learning, student-faculty interaction, enriching educational experience, and supportive campus environment.
Data Collected:
Provides information about the extent to which first-year and senior students engage in specific educational practices that have been proven to be associated with high levels of learning, development, and institutional effectiveness.

Data Collected:
Provides comprehensive and valuable information about the academic, social, and personal development of first-year college students.

Information Provided:
High school academic experience, high school extra-curricular experience, collegiate academic expectations, collegiate social like expectations, knowledge and skill development in areas such as values and attitudes 
Data Collected:
Aggregate data provides information about student's activities inside and outside the classroom during their last year of high school and how those activities expect to change during the college experience.  These survey data allows for an institutional and national level comparison of these figures.  In addition, this information is used in conjunction with other survey data to compare student engagement at different points in their college career.
