The following are current projects that the office of Student Affairs is working on:
CIRP 2007. The CIRP Freshman Survey was administered during Fall Orientation in August 2007. Status: Awaiting Data; 1996-2006 CIRP Trends Report posted
College Student Survey 2007. The CSS was administered in April 2007. Status: Data received, 2007 CSS frequency data posted.
Multi-institutional Study of Leadership 2006. The MSL was administered in February 2006. Status: Data received.
Resident Satisfaction Survey: The RSS was administered in January 2007. Status: Data received, RSS Executive Summary posted.
National College Health Assessment. The NCHA survey was administered in February 2007. Status: Data received, NCRA Executive Summary posted.
National Survey of Student Engagement. The NSSE will be administered to students in February of 2008. Status: Awaiting Administration
Student Athlete Survey. The Department of Athletics administered a survey in the Spring of 2007 to analyze the student athlete experience at JCU. Status: Data received, Student Athlete Survey Executive Summary posted.
Student Involvement Survey. The Student Affairs Assessment Team is currently developing an involvement survey to be conducted in October, 2007.
Examining and Transforming Campus Hazing Cultures. JCU will participate in this study created by researchers at the University of Maine in October, 2007.
