Goals and Objectives of SAAT
The mission of the SAAT is to provide education, guidance, and resources for assessment within the Division of Student Affairs. We strive to accomplish this through the following:
- Assisting and advising departments within the Division of Student Affairs during the assessment process.
- Providing resources and education that enable departments to assess student learning in practical and manageable ways.
- Creating and implementing a Divisional assessment timeline.
- Assisting with the creation and implementation of departmental assessment plans.
- Overseeing continuous assessment processes for the Division of Student Affairs.
- Promoting the active engagement of all members of the Division of Student Affairs in assessing student learning.
- Maintaining on-going conversations about student learning outcomes and the merit of assessment within Student Affairs.
- Encouraging understanding of assessment throughout the Division
