• Consider having two students share a position by indicating "job sharing possible" in the job description. Classes run on a Monday/Wednesday/Friday and a Tuesday/Thursday schedule.
• Be as specific as possible about the hours you require. Some parents list specific daytime needs, some are flexible, and others request a sitter for occasional weekend nights, and other variations.
• Indicate whether your sitters must have their own transportation or whether you will furnish it. First year and sophomore students may not have their own transportation.
• We recommend that you do not include your house number - street and city only are suggested online.
• Average compensation is now $8-$10 per hour. Compensation also depends upon the number of children, their ages, whether you are providing transportation, and your job description.
• Your sitter request will be posted for 60 days. You will receive an email from the system when your listing will expire; if you wish to continue, just send a return email.
