  • come and meet with community partners and find out how you can do service in your community

Post-Graduate & Summer Volunteer Service Fair -
Monday, October 10th, 5:30pm-8:00pm, LSC Conference Room

  • organizations offering diverse domestic and international opportunities for seniors who are discerning a year or more of service following graduation
  • summer service opportunities are also available for undergraduates who are searching for a unique and rewarding way to spend their summer

  • kick-off to the Fall On-Campus Recruiting season
  • connect with over 25 employer organizations that will be conducting interviews on-campus in late October to early November.
  • some of those employers include: Avery-Dennison, Cleveland Clinic, Federal Reserve Bank, Kraft Foods, Quicken Loans, Moen, Progressive Insurance, Rosetta, and Swagelok
  • employers are recruiting for all majors for internships and full-time positions

  • sponsored by John Carroll University, Notre Dame College, and Ursuline College
  • hiring personnel from several northeastern Ohio school districts will answer your questions about finding your first professional teaching position
  • free and open to all current undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in a teacher education program at John Carroll University, Notre Dame College, or Ursuline College

  • networking event for employers and current students
  • "mocktail" party atmosphere, no formal program to maximize networking
  • wear business professional attire

2012 John Carroll University Annual Career Fair -
Thursday, February 2nd, 4:30pm-7:00pm, Dolan Center for Science and Technology

  • for all majors, all class years, ALL JCU students and alumni
  • over 100 organizations attend annually with internships, part-time jobs, entry-level jobs, and volunteer opportunities both locally and nationally

5th Annual Government Career Day -
Date TBD, Case Western Reserve University

  • sponsored by the Cleveland Federal Executive Board, Cleveland State University, John Carroll University, Case Western Reserve University, Baldwin-Wallace College
  • learn about different government agencies and the qualifications you need to be a competitive applicant
  • open to the public
  • representatives from federal, state and local government agencies
  • workshops offered to assist in applying for federal and state jobs

Education Recruiting Day -
Wednesday, April 18, 2011, 8:15am to 3:45pm

  • interview with school systems that are seeking for teachers, school counselors, school psychologists, administrators, etc.
