Celebration of Scholarship:
Celebrate the Arts at Lunch!
The ninth annual A Celebration of Scholarship! will be held the week of March 22, 2010 at John Carroll University.
Faculty, administrators, staff, undergraduate and graduate students, alumns, and other members of the John Carroll community are welcome to participate in the Arts at Lunch with music (solos, duets, ensembles) and spoken word performances (poetry, prose, and dramatic readings).
Performances will be scheduled during Celebration week at a time to be determined - tentatively scheduled in the Lombardo Student Center Atrium. A piano, microphone, and speakers will be avaiable on a staging area in the Atrium.
The Arts at Lunch is coordinated by Dr. Cynthia Caporella, Director of Liturgical Music & Musical Art. and Dr. Philip Metres, Department of English.

Music performances are expected to be two to five minutes in length. Ensemble groups may request up to 20 minutes. Auditions are required. Contact Dr. Cynthia Caporella for more information and to schedule an audition |
