Center for Faculty Development

Welcome!

The Center for Faculty Development at John Carroll University was established in January 2009. It replaces and expands the mission of the Center for Teaching and Learning.

The Center seeks to support and advocate for the career development needs of faculty. This is done via programming, funding and logistical support to promote the enhancement of teaching, research and service efforts of faculty members, as well as cultivation of community within and among faculty, opening up new potential for interdisciplinary efforts.

The proposal from faculty for the creation of this center may be found here. Feel free to contact the director with input on needs or suggestions for faculty development.
