Environmental Studies Concentration The Chemistry Department takes part in the Environmental Studies Concentration, which is designed to acquaint students with the operations of the physical, biological and chemical systems of the planet, the impact of people on these systems, and the sociological and political processes which impinge upon our environment. Any tract of chemistry major may take part in the concentration.
