| "Over 150 individuals have come forth when
we asked and said 'yes' when we asked for their support. 'Yes,' they
said, 'I am Committed to Carroll' ... I hope you will ask yourself
how important John Carroll is to you and give careful consideration
to how you might help us reach this goal. That is what the Jesuits
refer to as 'The Magis' - the more, the greater, the more universal
good. Magis is a reference to each individual giving their best at
what they do, reaching for perfection and testing the limits of what
they thought possible. This is what makes the world a better place.
That is what makes our university a better place and that is what
drives our campaign. A campaign for John Carroll University. A campaign
in which we ask you to choose the greater good for the good of John
Carroll." |
