 |
Open to teachers of mathematics and science in grades 1-6, this workshop will develop your understanding of how to fully integrate mathematics with science using data analysis techniques. Lunches, books, and other take-home educational materials will be provided. You will have an opportunity to learn how to design hands-on, inquiry lessons that generate data and then practice non-formulaic methods of analyzing the data. All the lessons and materials are aligned to benchmarks from the Ohio state standards. An iDiscovery online class during the fall 2008 semester will continue the learning started in the summer session. Participation in the online follow-on will be at no additional cost to participants.
