RAIN PLAN 2010
In the event that the Quadrangle is too soaked by rain and muddy, and/or the forecast the day of the ceremony shows the likelihood of rain, the ceremony will be moved to the Wolstein Center at Cleveland State University.
The announcement will be made by 10:00 am, Friday, May 21. Information will then be posted on the JCU web pages, sent in an email to all students, faculty, and staff, and a number of on campus departments will be notified as well.
The Wolstein Center is accessible from either Prospect Avenue or Carnegie Avenue, and is large enough to accommodate all graduates, faculty, administration, and guests. The official address of the Wolstein Center is 2000 Prospect Avenue. (Note: The Wolstein Center is ADA accessible.)
If the Wolstein Center is used, the schedule for Sunday would remain the same. Graduating students would report to the Wolstein Center between 9:30 and 10:30 in the morning (to receive their seating assignment cards) and the ceremony would begin at noon. The Wolstein Center will open at 9 a.m. Enter the building at the Time Warner Cable Gate and Gate B. There will be a cost for parking at the lots adjacent to the building.
If you ordered flowers for your graduate, the flowers will be available for pick up at the Wolstein Center, Gate D.
