Dr. Douglas Bruce, Associate Professor, specializing in rhetoric and public address. He received his B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio, his M.A. from Southwest Texas State University, and his Ph.D. from the University of Iowa.

Dr. Bruce teaches in the areas of persuasive, political and classical communications. Dr. Bruce has presented numerous convention papers in his field , and has published articles on 20th Century and European approaches to communication.
