Dr. Margaret Finucane, Associate
Professor, teaches in the areas of interpersonal, media effects,
and public speaking. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at John Carroll
University, a Master of Arts at the University of Iowa, and a Ph.D.
at Kent State University.
Dr. Finucane’s dissertation
is entitled "Development and validation of a measure of the
social uses of television: Parental co-viewing with children."
Her research interests include interpersonal use of media, historical
aspects of broadcasting, and service learning pedagogy. |

Dr. Finucane is serving as the Director of the Center for Service
and Social Action. Dr. Finucane's office is on the garden level
