Dr. Margaret Finucane, Associate
Professor, teaches in the areas of interpersonal, media effects,
and public speaking. She earned her Bachelor of Arts at John Carroll
University, a Master of Arts at the University of Iowa and a Ph.D.
at Kent State University.
Dr. Finucane’s dissertation
is entitled "Development and validation of a measure of the
social uses of television: Parental co-viewing with children."
Her research interests include interpersonal use of media, historical
aspects of broadcasting, and service learning pedagogy.

Dr. Finucane is serving as the Interim Director of the Center for
Service and Social Action. Dr. Finucane's office is on the lower
