Scholarships

Below are a list of scholarships, as well as the criteron students must meet to qualify. Scholarships marked with a '*' must have a student nominated by an instructor for consideration.

• JAMES BRESLIN SCHOLARSHIP$*
  Awarded for the senior year to the student who exhibits outstanding work in television production.
• PATTI ROSENFELD SCHOLARSHIP$
  Awarded for the senior year on the basis of need and academic standing.
• PLAIN DEALER JOURNALISM SCHOLARSHIP$*
  Awarded for the senior year to the student who exhibits excellence in the print media.
• STEVENS-BARON AWARD$*
  Awarded for the senior year to the student who exhibits exemplary performance in public relations and marketing. This award is shared alternately with the Department of Management, Marketing and Logistics.
• WILLIAM F. BUCKLEY SCHOLARSHIP$*
  Awarded for the senior year to the student who exhibits outstanding performance in Communications and Catholic Studies. This award is alternated annually with the Catholic Studies Program.
• FREELEY SCHOLARSHIP $*
  Awarded to the student who excels on the JCU debate team.
