TESTIMONIALS
Dr. Storz,
I was recently looking up John Carroll and thought that it was due time to write you a note. I do not know if you remember me, but I graduated in 2004. I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina right after graduating to teach math. I ended up teaching there for two years in an inner-city setting. After two years, I moved up to Connecticut and am currently teaching middle school math at an independent school. I am in charge of the middle school student council, the upper school cross-country team, and I am loving it.
I just wanted to say thank you! As soon as I started teaching in Charlotte, I realized how prepared I was and I woe that to John Carroll. I ended up receiving Teacher of the Year, my first year at Charlotte! I love the profession that I am in. I remember my freshman year in college when you encouraged me to go into middle childhood education. I am not sure how you knew that it was for me, but I am thankful that you did.
I hope that all is well!
Sincerely,
Sarah Lucic
To the Members of the Department of Education and Allied Studies:
Over the years I have had the opportunity to mentor so many of your students. So many of whom have made a difference in a young adolescent's life. The students have been given the necessary tools (JCU's curriculum) to be effective educators. As this is my retirement year, I wanted to share my appreciation for th opportunity JCU has given e to also make a difference in these potential teachers' lives. Thank you.

Dear Mrs. Harrison,
My name is Tom Grodek and I have been hired into the Mentor Public School System. I am a middle chilhdood 4-9 math and language arts major. I am currently teaching 4th grade math and languge arts at Hopkins Elementary School in Mentor, OH. I also coached football at Shore Middle School in Mentor for the 7th grade team. My job is a direct result of the Career Fair from the previous year. My success is also a result of the amazing education the John Carroll provides because Mentor hires John Carroll studnets because of the reputation of their excellence and preparation in teaching. The teachers that had a profound impact on my education were Greg DiLisi, Brendan Foreman, and especially Mark Storz. Without their support and advice I would not be where I am today. So I thank you and I thank the rest of the John Carroll University Education Department.
