ED 574 - Applied Research in Literacy Education

DESCRIPTION:

Pre-requisite: ED 502.

Avanced course in research methods applied to literacy. Includes critical review of current qualitative and quantitative studies with emphasis on problem formulation, methodology, findings, and interpretation of results. Culminates in a research plan outling a literacy study of importance to the student and the field of literacy. For candidates to have completed the Reading Teacher Sequence and are seekig Reading Coordinator/Consultant specialization.
