Reading Specialty Program

Program Coordinator: Catherine Rosemary, Ph.D.

The Graduate Reading sequence has been planned in accordance with the guidelines established by the International Reading Association for the professional training of reading specialists.  A valid teaching license may be endorsed for reading upon completion of the 12 semester hour course sequence.  The graduate reading sequence may be pursued as part of the M.Ed. Program for the Professional Teacher.  At the conclusion of the master’s degree studies, successful completion of a written comprehensive examination is required for the M.Ed.  This exam consists of a general
