ED 100 - Introduction to Education DESCRIPTION: Pre-requisite for admission to teahcer education. Emphasis on self-evaluation as a teacher. Introduction to critical issues in education, the person as a teacher, criteria for effective teahign, and effective school settings. Includes a field experience component requiring observations and other guided tasks, and a university component conducted in a seminar format. Lab fee required.
