ED 355 - Language Study and Phonics DESCRIPTION: Pre-requisite or Co-requisite: ED 255. Examines language development in various stages across the life span. Language development with focus on teh grapho-phonemic, syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic systems as they relate to literacy instruction. Examination of relevant issues such as literacy development, metalinguistic awareness, phonemic awareness, and discoveries pattern. Includes field experience.
