1. Note: Reunion 2006 no longer conflicts with Father's Day!
Reunion
2006 will take place on June 23-25, the weekend AFTER Father’s Day, thus removing
a recurring conflict for alumni who want to acknowledge Dad. Reunion 2006 celebrates
classes ending in 1 and 6. Mark your calendar and plan to attend! Better yet,
get involved and volunteer to be on your class committee. Contact Rosalie Massey,
Reunion Coordinator, at 1-800-736-2586 or by e-mail."Attention Cleveland area alumni," added Ryan Daly, Director of Alumni Relations. "Even if it is not your Reunion year, we still want you to come on Friday night, June 23rd, after 9 pm to join in the party. Come back to John Carroll University and celebrate with classmates and friends. You don’t want to miss this party."

Meanwhile, class photos for the 0's and 5's as well as candids from what has been called the most successful JCU Reunion ever can be ordered online.

Next on the tee, the Blue-Gold golf outingIf you missed the alumni golf outing last month, you have one last chance to join Carroll men and women in pursuit of the little white ball, this Monday (Jul 25) at Signature of Solon Country Club. For more information on the Blue-Gold event, visit the Athletic Department website.
4. Aug 17: Meet London Fletcher '97 at the Buffalo Bills training camp
John
Carroll University invites alumni and friends to attend the Buffalo Bills Training
Camp and meet JCU alumnus and NFL star, London Fletcher ’97. The morning training
session will take place on Wednesday, August 17, on the campus of St. John Fisher
College in the Rochester (NY) area. A picnic lunch for JCU alums will follow.

Taking JCU's colors to new heightsKevin Cherilla '91 has 'planted' the JCU pennant on yet another mountain top and this time he did it with another alum on his team, Kristen Johnson '01. See the photo at the summit and read the -ah, serendipitous story behind it on the JCU website.
6. Quotable, once again: Howard Gray SJ
It's not that we quote JCU's Assistant to the President for University Mission in every issue of e-News. It only seems that way. The most recent example of memorable speech from Father Gray came in June at a retreat JCU hosted for the Jesuits of the Detroit province, when he summed up -- in 6 minutes -- what it means to be a member of the Society of Jesus.
