With performers from such prestigious companies as The Royal Shakespeare Company; The Royal National theater of Great Britain and Shakespeare's Globe Theater, Actors from the London Stage was developed thirty-two years ago by Professor Homer Swander and Patrick Stewart, the renowned British Actor who most know as
Captian Jean-Luc Picard from Star Trek. Their performances of Shakespeare are like no other: using five actors who play multiple parts, AFTLS brings forth the power of Shakespeare's characters and language.  AFTLS has visited John Carroll twice before, in the spring of 2005 with Othello and the fall of 2006 with Hamlet, presenting memorable performances of these two classic Shakespearean Tragedies.
