THE CONSTITUTION......
 "All members
of the John Carroll University Faculty on active or visiting status
have voting rights and share in the rights and responsibilities of
Faculty Governance. The Faculty shall have primary responsibility for
recommendations on policy in such fundamental areas as curriculum,
subject matter and methods of instruction, research, faculty status,
faculty development, and those aspects of student life which relate to
the educational process."

FACUTLY COUNCIL MEETING: Monday, May 14, 3-4pm,
Library Mackin Room. This is a
meeting of the newly elected Council.
Officers and Committee Chairs will be selected at this meeting.
GENERAL FACULTY MEETING: See you in the Fall
Term, 2012. Meeting dates will be
selected by the new Council Chair.
OPEN HEARINGS: Thank you to all those
who arranged, staffed and attended the open hearings of 2011-12.

The Miles Coburn Environmental Symposium and
the Ride for Miles bicycle tour are annual events in memory of Professor
Miles Coburn, a dedicated teacher, a cherished friend, and an esteemed
