Participation is important since alumni support is a reflection of an institution's strength and is a factor in awarding grants from foundations and corporations.  Institutional support is also a factor in rankings provided by publications such as US News and World Report.

  THE CARROLL FUND

The Carroll Fund provides needed budget relieving support as John Carroll University continues to educate students who are guided by a moral compass and are challenged to develop a commitment to learning and service.

There exists a funding gap between what it costs John Carroll to educate a full-time student for one year, and what the average student pays.  This gap is, on average, $8,356 per student.  A gift to the Carroll Fund helps bridge this gap and sustains John Carroll’s distinctive and dynamic learning environment by providing:

  • Student financial assistance
  • Opportunities for service and service learning
  • Outstanding faculty recruitment and retention

Your annual support assists John Carroll as we fulfill our responsibility as a Jesuit and Catholic institution to providing adequate student financial aid, especially in the face of economic hardship.
