Dr. Andreas Sobisch, Director (sobisch@jcu.edu)

Dr. Sobisch became the director of the Center for Global Education in August of 2005. Prior to that he taught for 15 years in the political science department. He is a native of Hamburg, Germany, and first came to the United States as an undergraduate student. He has accompanied John Carroll students on study tours abroad on several occasions.

Mr. Frank Congin, Assistant Director (fcongin@jcu.edu)

Frank joined John Carroll University's Center for Global Education in July 2005. He advises students wishing to study abroad. Additionally, he carries out a variety of administrative duties pertaining to students studying abroad as well as incoming students. Frank studied abroad in Salzburg and Vienna. In addition to studying abraod, Frank also lived for an extended time in Germany.

Mrs. Kathy Schiffer, Secretary (kschiffer@jcu.edu)

Kathy joined the Center for Global Education in the fall of 2006. She is responsible for administrative duties for the department and serves as the secretary to the Director and Assistant Director. Kathy studied in Japan and was a student ambassador to Germany.
