The Program: January 10th - May 13th-2009*
The Boler School of Business offers an exciting program in London every spring semester. This academic program is designed for second semester sophomores wishing to enter the Boler School of Business.
Starting Spring 2008, the Boler School of Business London Program will be housed at Huron University. Huron University is a UK university based on the American system. Huron's campus overlooks Russell Square in the middle of Bloomsburg. For centuries, Bloomsbury has been at the academic and literary heart of centeral London. This area is home to London's oldest and largest concentration of universities.
All courses offered fulfill core requirements for business school majors or minors. Courses offered are:
- AC 202, Accounting Principles II (Prerequisite AC 201)
- EC 208, Business and Economic Statistics II (Prerequisite EC 205)
- EN XXX, Major British Writers (Prerequisite Fresman English)
- MN 202, Business Communication (Prerequisite 1 year English Composition)
- *HS XXX, Religion Culture and Politics (Prerequisite RL 101)

The Boler School of Business sends a faculty member each spring to accompany the students. This faculty member teaches one course and serves as resident director for the participating students.
Living in London
Huron University's main residence hall is located at 1 Byng Place, just a 7 minute walk from the Huron campus. Byng Place is just across the street from the University of London Student Union (ULU) building and Waterstones bookshop (Europe's largest academic books specialist). The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA) is a block away.
At Byng Place students live alongside Huron University students from all over the world. These are usually three to hour students per room; each room contains beds, study desk, and wardrobes. Some rooms contain private bathroom and toilet facilities; other rooms share other common facilities. Byng Place has full kitchen and laundry facilities, WiFi, audio-visual equipment and internet connected computers in the communal area. Grocery stores, pharmacies, cafes and restaurants, bookshops and public transport are easily accessible.
Excursions and Activities
Students will have a chance to participate in organized excursions during their time in London. Short excursions have typically been organized to Bath & Stonehenge, Canterbury. In addition to these shorter excursions, students have participated in one long excursion to Europe.

How to Apply
The program is limited to 30 participants who submit a completed application and a $500.00 deposit. The Boler School of Business London Semester Program is highly competitive and usually fills up early. Admission to the program is based on academic standing, and order or deposit.
