The Program
Casa de la Solidaridad's program in El Salvador is an initiative between the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities, the University of Central America and Santa Clara University. The mission of Casa is, "the promotion of justice and solidarity through the creation of a meaningful academic experience where you can integrate rigorous academic study with direct immersion with the poor of El Salvador." Courses students take at Casa may fulfill course work toward a Latin American Studies Concentration.
Financial Aid Information
John Carroll University students may apply up to $3 000 of their John Carroll University aid, in addition students may apply state and federal aid to the program. For more information, please contact Dr. Luengo or Dr.Anderson, co-chairs of the Latin American Concentration.
