The Program
The University of Dortmund is located a short distance from the city center of the Westphalian metropolis of Dortmund. The University of Dortmund was founded in 1962 and currently has a student population of 25 000 students and 2 000 faculty. The university offers a wide range of courses in many academic areas and is a regional leader of scientific research. While studying at Dortmund students will take classes along side of German students in German.
Financial Aid
Students are able to apply all financial aid, with exception of work study to the program. Please consult the Office of Financial Aid for further details. For further outside funding, please consult the DAAD website (deutscher akademischer Austausch Dinest)

Note: Students will be invoiced from the University of Dortmund for housing costs, German health insurance, rent deposit and semester student fees. These costs are approximatly €2 300.
The University of Dortmund is self catering, e.g. students are responsible for their meals.
