The Program
Kansai-Gaidai University is located in Hirakata City near Osaka., which is the second largest Japanese city. Kansai Gaidai was founded in 1945 and has grown tremendously since than. Today, Kansai Gaidai is affiliated with over 280 colleges and university's world wide and sends ca. 1 400 of its students abroad yearly. Kansai-Gaidai offers courses to fulfill requirements for an East Asian Studies concentration. Students may choose to study at Kansai for a semester or an entire academic year. The minimum GPA for admission to Kansai-Gaidai is 3.0.
Financial Aid:
Students participating on an exchange with Kansai-Gaidai University are able to take all John Carroll University financial aid, with the exception of work study. This includes scholarships, federal and state aid.
