NANZAN UNIVERSITY
The Program
John Carroll University students may study on an exchange agreement with Nanzan University. Nanzan University is located in the Japanese city of Nagoya. and was founded in 1946 and today has an enrollment of over 9 000 undergraduate students. Students attending Nanzan University enjoy a low student-to-teacher ratio, which allows students to build relationships with their professors. John Carroll University students may attend Nanzan for one semester or an entire academic year. Nanzan University offers courses to fulfill requirements for an East Asian Studies concentration.
Financial Aid
Students participating on this exchange program are eligible to take all financial aid with the exception of work-study to Nanzan University. This includes scholarships, federal and state aid.

Room and Board are the responsibility of the student. Nanzan University will invoice students directly for room and board charges. Typically students are placed with host families in Nagoya.
