Contact / Meet Your Advisor
As directed in your acceptance letter, please contact your advisor as soon as possible. S/he will help you register for classes and answer any questions you have. If you experience difficulty contacting your advisor, please contact your program coordinator.
Scheduling Your Classes
For first time registration only, you must meet with your advisor to discuss course selections. Together you will complete an Academic Program Recommendation form (APR). You may then register in person at the Student Services Center with your APR or bring it to the Office of Graduate Studies to be registered. Subsequent registration may be done directly by you via the web or in person at the Student Services Center on the garden level of the Administration Building. To register on the web, you will need a Banner ID and PIN.
Course Schedules
Up-to-date course schedule information is available on the Registrar's website under Schedule of Classes. You may register online, add and drop classes, view registration status, your student account and more by clicking Enter Banner Web. Information needed to access the Banner System (Banner ID and PIN) will be provided by The Graduate School. Note: Your Banner ID is on most official letters that you receive from the Registrar or Bursar.
Billing
Acceptable forms of payment are personal check, money order or cashier's check. Credit card payments may also be made through Education Computer Systems Incorporated (ECSI). A processing fee of 3% will be charged by ECSI. Payments made by ACH (checking account or savings account) will have a $1.00 processing fee. Services for Students with Disabilities
Students who have a disability have the right to timely reasonable accommodation of that disability in order to receive the same opportunity for success as students who do not have a disability. John Carroll University supports and adheres to the requirements set forth in both the American with Disabilities Act of 1990 and the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. Parking
Parking permits are available for purchase at orientation or during normal business hours from the Campus Safety Service office located on the ground floor of the Lombardo Student Center. They will also be for sale in the Murphy Room of the Lombardo Student Center during the first week of class. An Off Campus Permis costs $125 per semester (no parking after 3:00am) and a Evening Commuter Permit is $60 per semester (valid weekdays from 4:00pm to 3:00am and all day Saturday and Sunday). No parking pass is required for summer sessions.
In order to obtain a parking permit you must bring: registration or proof of insurance, license plate number, make, model and color of car, and check or cash (no credit cards). For more information visit the Parking website or call (216)397-1615.
Student ID
To obtain a student ID, bring your driver's license or photo ID to the Carroll Card office located in room AD03 on the garden level of the Administration Building and is ipen from 8:30-12:00 and 1:00-5:00. Cards will also be available at either orientation session. Your first ID is free, however, replacement cards cost $25. For more information visit the Carroll Card website or call (216)397-4961.

Money can be placed on the card for use in the Bookstore, cafeteria, In-Between, and at the various vending machines on campus.

There are two different bank ATM machines on-campus:
Huntington Bank:
- located in the Lombardo Student Center near the bookstore
U.S. Bank
- located on the garden level of the Administration Building
