20 hours per week in exchange for tuition and fees (excluding graduation fee)
up to 9 credit hours in the fall and spring semesters (a total of 18 credit hours) and a stipend paid twice per month (September-May) |
Qualifications |
Full-time, matriculated, degree-seeking graduate student in a Community Counseling, School Counseling, School Psychology, or Education program. Applicants need to be flexible, self-motivated, reliable, and be able to work on campus when needed during the day. Previous experience in a research class, or doing research, is preferred. |
Responsibilities |
The graduate assistants assist faculty with research, teaching, or service. The majority of the assignments typically involve working with research. This may involve a number of different roles depending on the needs of the faculty member, such as copying, doing literature reviews, collecting data, entering data into computer programs, transcribing interview tapes, and analyzing data. |
