Hours and Wages

20 hours per week in exchange for tuition and fees (excluding graduation fee)
up to 9 credit hours in the fall and spring semesters (a total of 18 credit hours) and a stipend paid twice per month (September-May)

Qualifications

Full-time, matriculated, degree-seeking graduate student in the English program.

Responsibilities

First Year: assist faculty member(s) in one or two first year composition courses, tutor students in the Writing Center, research assistance for faculty members, assist faculty member(s) with grading in literature courses.
Second Year: Teach composition courses with full responsibility for selecting textbooks, designing syllabus, planning class meetings, and grading work.
