Thanks for your interest in History at JCU. We have a broad range of courses in American, European, East Asian, and Latin American history. Majors have a great deal of flexibility in creating a program suiting personal interests, as well as gaining broad historical perspective. Students wanting to fulfill core curriculum requirements can choose from a wide variety of topical and thematic courses.

We think that no major does a better job in helping students develop strengths in research, writing, analysis, and synthesis--skills necessary to any future career.
