Awards and Scholarships

Howard J. Kerner, S. J. Scholarships
Two scholarships of $2000 each (applied to the following year's tuition) are awarded each year to history majors who apply as second-semester juniors with at least a 3.5 GPA.  Applicants must plan to enroll full-time at John Carroll in the year of the award and take an upper-division history course each semester.  Applications are available from the History Department Secretary and are due April 15.

Scholastic Achievement Award
This award is presented to the
outstanding graduating History major with the highest GPA.
