Heartland/Delta Faculty Conversations are an opportunity for faculty from the 12 Jesuit colleges and universities of the Midwest, South, and Belize to engage in extended conversations on the identity and mission of Jesuit education, as it is lived among faculty at each of our campuses.
The idea for the series originated in 1999 through an initiative of the presidents, provincials and rectors of the Midwestern schools. The meetings now rotate annually among all twelve institutions in the spring semester of each year.
This year, Marquette University will host Faculty Conversations from
February 27 - March 1. 2009. The theme for this year's conference is, The Ignatian Pedagogical Paradigm: Practical Applications.
