PHONE SERVICE
The John Carroll University phone system combines Faculty, Staff
and Students on the same system. One of the many advantages this
provides is the ability to reach anyone on campus by merely dialing
a four digit extension. Whether you use a standard analog phone,
or a digital display phone, the system is rich in features such
as call forwarding, conference calling, call pickup, and voicemail,
to name a few. For information about these and other features,
refer to the following instructions as they provide detailed instructions
of how to take advantage of all these useful options. If you
have any questions about this information, you can call ext. ,
or send your email questions to bwilhelm@jcu.edu.

a call back.
Conference
Calling Options: There are a
number of options available when
it comes to making a conference call. Determining the best
option for your call will be based upon, but not limited to the
following preferences:
1) Number of callers that will be participating
in the call, including yourself.
2) Are you willing to set up the conference
call by placing individual calls to each participant?
3) Would you prefer that each participant
call into a toll free number?
4) Who will pay for the call? Charges
apply in certain circumstances.
