Exchange Users E-Mail

Mirapoint User Guide

Connect to your JCU Exchange account anywhere you have access to the Internet.  Once connected, you will be able to read your email and access your calendar.    Each Exchange user has been given a default of 100 MB of storage.

Instructions for connection:

1.  Launch Internet Explorer window.

2.  Type the exchange address:  exchange.jcu.edu
     (Do not put "www" in front of this address.)

3.  In the pop-up window, (Connect to exchange.jcu.edu) enter your exchange username and password and you will be connected to your exchange email account.

To set up Exchange Account using Outlook 2007

1] Start > Control Panel > Open Mail

2] Click E-Mail Accounts   


3] Click New      

           
4] Select Microsoft Exchange, POP3, IMAP, or HTTP, click Next   
                                

5] Click Manually configure server settings or additional server types, Click Next


6] Select Accout type, Microsoft Exchange to set up Exchange Account, Click Next   

7] Enter User Information

  •  Enter Microsoft Exchange server: EXCHANGE
  •  Enter Your Name: Your Name, Click [Check Name]     

 
8] Click [Next]


9] Click [Finish]
