Loyola School invites you to "Walk in the Footsteps of St. Ignatius" on a Pilgrimage to Spain and Rome, June 16-27, 2008. This pilgrimage is offered to faculty and staff of Jesuit high schools and colleges, and staff of Jesuit parishes and retreat centers. It is intended to help participants grow in their understanding of St. Ignatius and how his life experience is a part of the spirit and work of Jesuit ministry today. Cost: $3,799 per person. The Spiritual Directors International Annual Meeting this year
is in Washington, DC. There are three parts to it: The
Leadership Institute, which is for people involved in running
spiritual direction training programs, meets March 26-27; the
annual Conference for all participants runs from March 28-30;
a new section entitled Men’s Spiritual Journey meets

St. Malachi Church is again sponsoring "Samaritan Ministry," a four-session program of education on alcoholism and substance abuse. The program is especially designed to help clergy, pastoral ministers, social service workers, chemical dependency counselors and other interested persons develop a deeper understanding of the effects of alcoholism and substance abuse on an individual's life and the lives of family members. "The Transformative Power of Contemplative Consciousness:" a workshop with Donald Goergen, OP, theologian and retreat leader.
